Referral compensation

How we support the service.

Price-Quotes may earn referral or affiliate fees when you connect with a participating provider through our service. This compensation does not affect research findings, rankings, or recommendations. Payment cannot buy favorable research, alter a finding, or purchase placement in any Price-Quotes content.

Research as context

Understanding market ranges.

Published ranges describe historical evidence under stated scopes and dates. They are not offers, provider recommendations, appraisals, or assurances of future price or performance. A range tells you what similar services have cost; it does not tell you what your specific job will cost. Research helps the vetting team and gives you useful context, but a provider's individual estimate is the actual quote. Your actual price depends on your unique circumstances, which only an on-site inspection can determine.

Provider vetting

Screening for better referrals.

Price-Quotes uses research and screening to make better referrals. Screening may include identity, service fit, geography, availability, credentials, insurance, complaints, and performance signals where relevant. These checks help us connect you with providers who may be a better fit for your project, but we do not guarantee outcomes or imply that every check applies to every provider.

Independent providers

Your agreements with providers.

Any estimate, contract, warranty, or service agreement is between you and the independent provider you choose. Price-Quotes is not a party to those agreements. While we conduct vetting to make better referrals, you remain responsible for verifying credentials and understanding scope and terms before hiring.

Your choices

You stay in control.

Using Price-Quotes research or requesting provider matches does not obligate you to hire anyone. You decide whether to request quotes, negotiate, or proceed with a project. You are responsible for reviewing provider information, confirming scope and pricing, and obtaining appropriate contracts.

Home-service requests

Separate request and SMS terms.

Quote requests, provider matching, request administration, calls, and transactional text messages are also governed by our Home Services Terms.
